Fourteen outstanding health and care champions have been celebrated as winners at the first ever Greater Manchester-wide awards for our health and care workforce at the Museum of Science and Industry on Friday night (Friday 13th July).
The Greater Manchester Health and Care Champion Awards are the first in the city-region to recognise members of our paid and unpaid health and care workforce who regularly go above and beyond to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of Greater Manchester. The awards were organised by Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership with support from the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.
It was extremely gratifying to see a high level of organisations and individuals from within the GM VCSE sector nomined to receive an award. Our congratulations go to all nominees and award winners from all sectors.
