A Greater Manchester hospital service review is currently taking place involving a team of doctors, patients and other healthcare staff from across the region to make children’s health care services the best they can be and to make them sustainable and affordable for the future.
To help the team design future children’s services in Greater Manchester, a brief survey has been devised to find out how a parents/guardians feel about the hospital-based children’s services that they have used in Greater Manchester, and to ask how they can be improved. These will help to identify what is important to parents/guardians and patients and what needs to be considered from their perspective in the design of any future services. A further survey has also been specifically co-designed with and aimed at engaging children and young people.
Participation in both surveys is entirely voluntary and will not affect any services respondents are currently receiving. They will take about ten minutes to complete the survey which are completely anonymous so feel free to respond honestly. You are under no obligation to complete any of the questions in the questionnaire.
Please promote the completion of these surveys to appropriate service users. Both surveys will be open to complete until 8am on 9th July, 2018. If you would like a paper version of the survey or require an alternative format/language or have any questions about the survey, please contact Usman Nawaz or Audrey Abbott at the NHS Transformation Unit (0161 967 0300).
