Inaugural meeting of the GM VCSE Mental Health Peer Advocacy working group

During the February 2019 Mental Health Forum, delegates had a robust discussion on peer-advocacy and we discussed looking at agreeing a Greater Manchester definition and also bring together a small group of interested stakeholders to potentially work up a Greater Manchester investment proposal in order to roll out services across all localities.

Headed by Melvin Bradley, CEO of MhIST, we are now in a position to move this piece of work forwards and are therefore looking for people who would like to be involved in scoping out peer-advocacy work across Greater Manchester in order to roll out services across all localities.

If you interested in becoming involved, please contact Kat Rado-Barnes by clicking here so we can tie you into the proposed first meeting of the group on Friday 9th August between 10.00 – 12.00 at the St Thomas Centre, Ardwick Green North, Manchester, M12 6FZ
