Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation

Research on behalf of GreaterSport

GreaterSport is conducting research to understand more about residents of Greater Manchester and physical activity. This will inform the campaign they are undertaking to help achieve their target of getting 75% of GM residents active.

They have commissioned an independent research agency to conduct a survey to understand the experiences of GM residents and are asking voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations to forward the link to your own networks. This will help to ensure as many residents as possible respond. GreaterSport have drafted an email template (below) which you are welcome to use.

The survey will remain open until March 15th and can be found here. GreaterSport estimate that it will take around 10 minutes to complete.

You can also help spread the work by retweeting this @GMMoving tweet: https://twitter.com/GmMoving/status/1103313330188505090

Email Template for VCSE organsations to use to share survey

Hello!

Calling all residents of Greater Manchester: tell us about your experiences.

We are conducting some research to understand what people in Greater Manchester think of physical activity. This will help us to ensure we are providing the best opportunities and support we can. Don’t worry, you don’t need to know anything to take part. There are no right or wrong answers - we just want to hear about your daily life experiences.

The online survey should only take around 10 minutes to complete and will remain open until March 15th. You can access it here:
https://populus.livesurveys.net/P013805O

There is no obligation to complete the survey. No one will know that you have taken part – the information that you share is kept strictly confidential and anonymous.
