Greater Manchester Centre for Voluntary Organisation

Stakeholder Session (Services) GM Cancer Screening & Engagement Programme

Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership have commissioned a 3-year Greater Manchester Cancer Screening and Engagement Programme.

The aim of this new Programme is to develop a Voluntary and Community Sector-led approach to reduce the incidence of cancers, by finding new ways to engage, mobilise and work with Greater Manchester’s communities, especially those with low screening uptake

This half-day session is for people who work in, have an interest or experience of cancer screening services. It will be a mixture of showcase presentations, networking and round-table discussions. We are interested in finding out about your services and working with you to inform our own plans and priorities.

By the end of the day, you will have:

  • Learned up to date information about the progress and priorities of the GM Cancer Screening and Engagement Programme
  • An understanding and ownership of the Screening Services work of the Programme
  • Networked with other key stakeholders
  • Identified, mapped and shared best practice
  • Discussed and contributed to the delivery plans of the new GM Screening and Engagement Programme
