Wonder Match - Manchester

Are you a scientist or engineer who has a hunger to share the wonder of their research with others?

Are you a community based organization who is keen to support their members to engage with science and engineering?

Wonder Match is the perfect opportunity for community organisations and researchers to meet together and develop ideas for engagement activities. Based on a highly effective approach, Wonder Match is a series of partnership-building events designed to support community organisations and researchers to work together to encourage diverse audiences to engage with science.

Brought to you by the National Co-ordinating Centre for Public Engagement (NCCPE) and the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), the events provide an opportunity for community organisations supporting people in the 40% most deprived areas of the UK, and researchers in STFC related disciplines, to meet and develop project ideas together. Event participants can apply for a small amount of funding to enable them to further develop their approach, before potentially applying for an STFC grant.
